I am Bina Mehta and I am a certified Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant, Yoga Instructor, Universal White Time energy healer and teacher of Ayurveda & Indian cooking classes in Fort Collins, Colorado.
My life began in India, in the exuberant city of Mumbai. After moving to the United States, I began exploring a winding path, becoming familiar with many holistic healing modalities over the years. I have extensively studied yoga and Hinduism, Jin Shin, Kabbalah, astrology and Tarot reading. For five years as a professor’s assistant at Naropa University in Boulder, I was able to dive into works like the Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Yoga Sutras, study of The Goddesses and Yoga Nidra. I have logged more than 300 hours of Anusara yoga training with the Anusara yoga instructor Jeanie Manchester. I have also trained with the discipline’s founder, John Friend. For the last three years, I have studied with Shiva Rea, the amazing yogini whose motto is “Yoga as Conscious Evolution.” And for the past 14 years (time flies!), I have studied the power of sound through Silvia Nakkach and her “Yoga of the Voice” framework.
Building on this philosophical knowledge, I felt there was more to understand. I began training with the Fort Collins-based spiritual teacher Zari Pirasteh nine years ago. I am certified as a Level 4 Universal White Time Energy Healer & Level 3 Crystal Energy Healer. I am a certified UWTH Instructor for Levels 1 through 4. I have had the rare opportunity to complete advanced training with the Ambassador of the modern-day White Time Healing practice, Channie Cha from Sweden.
I am available for individual energy healing sessions in Denver and Fort Collins and offer distance healing by request from clients who live outside of Colorado. I also teach the Universal White Time Healing and Crystal Healing methods to other holistic healing professionals. I believe in using the most effective techniques to help different fragments of the Self come together to activate a person’s full potential. Mind, body, and spirit are pieces of the whole, which must be integrated in order to reveal one’s true essence. To help accomplish this goal for my clients and promote a holistic experience, my healing practice includes many components:
My ultimate goal for teaching Indian cooking classes and sharing my recipes is to guide students toward eating for a long healthy life, as a part of healing from the inside. My interest in Ayurveda has led me to study with Maria Garre (who herself learned from the known Ayurveda authority Vasant Lad) for three years. For my clients the dietary change makes an internal difference that complements the Universal White Time Gemstone energy healing, which comes from the outside. Through healing sessions, my clients become empowered to discover their unique gifts and to share their essence with the world. My practice is built on the conviction that people can heal themselves through exploring their innermost selves and learning to live in an energetically balanced way. Eating in accordance with Ayurvedic knowledge of the body, nutrition, and seasonal shifts is truly life-altering. Light and love can transform people and reveal their personal mission.
I encourage you to contact me, Bina Mehta, with any questions regarding my healing and teaching work.
